This game, Top It, allows Kindergarteners to identify numbers in a variety of ways. Some numbers were shown using die, pictures to count, fingers, tallies, base ten blocks, money, time to the whole hour and in word form. Similar to the game of War, Top It is played card by card, high or low card wins depending on what what decided at the start of the game. A great quick way to explore how numbers are represented. 

Mrs. Mullin came to visit the Kindergarten hallway today and shared her experiences and expertise as a seasoned scuba diver. She demonstrated how she uses her gear to explore the ocean underwater and breathe. She also shared the many pictures she has taken of underwater animals including some sharks and barracuda!!!
