Our New Homes Unit
Today we began two projects for our homes unit. Kindergarteners were able to practice number writing and work our fine motor skills in this project. We used Elmers glue and a variety of materials to make our house numbers. Who knew you could use red lentils for art? These are turning out great and they are so much fun to create.
In this project we are learning to sketch and outline. We are drawing our houses being careful to think about all the elements and details the outside of our houses have. Chimneys, gutters, windows, porches, doors, shutters, bricks and much more!!
Here we are building in our new station, the Construction Zone. Students are using Lincoln Logs to build cabins and other homes.
