During Math today we played the Roll-A-Tower- Race. Students rolled a die and built a tower with with enough Unifix cubes to match the number rolled, then placed that tower on the game board in the corresponding column. This was a great way to practice our number correspondence, reading a die, predicting, and reading our game boards like a bar graph. We were able to report after ten rolls which number we had the most of, least of and those that we rolled an equal number of times. These math sentences were pretty impressive!
