As part of our Reader's Workshop, we have launched into our Read to Self time. We learned the three ways to read a book and received our own personalized book box full of books that fit and are geared to our interests. We created rules to ensure we use utilize our reading to self time well. We are also charting how well and for how long we are able to follow the rules, building our stamina. We will be diving into more Readers' Workshop next week, exploring good Kindergarten reading strategies.
